Karting Safety

  1. Always wear a properly fitting helmet that meets safety standards while karting.

  2. Use appropriate safety gear, such as gloves, racing suits, and closed-toe shoes.

  3. Follow all track rules and regulations, including speed limits, overtaking rules, and flags.

  4. Keep both hands on the steering wheel and both feet inside the kart at all times.

  5. Avoid bumping or ramming into other karts or obstacles on purpose.

  6. Pay attention to your surroundings and be aware of other karts on the track.

  7. Do not drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other impairing substances.

  8. Observe proper seating position and adjust the seat and pedals to fit your body comfortably.

  9. Hold onto the steering wheel with both hands and keep your thumbs outside of the wheel.

  10. Do not lean out of the kart or attempt to touch the ground while driving.

  11. Avoid sudden and jerky movements that may cause loss of control or spinouts.

  12. Maintain a safe distance from other karts, especially during overtaking maneuvers.

  13. Use proper racing lines and take corners at appropriate speeds.

  14. Be cautious when rejoining the track after going off track or spinning out.

  15. Avoid blocking or weaving excessively, which can be dangerous and cause collisions.

  16. Follow the instructions of track marshals and officials at all times.

  17. Do not tamper with or modify the kart or its components without proper knowledge and authorization.

  18. If you experience any mechanical issues with the kart, inform the track personnel immediately.

  19. Stay hydrated and take breaks if you feel fatigued during extended racing sessions.

  20. Always maintain a respectful and sportsmanlike attitude towards fellow racers, officials, and track personnel.
